Raffleway is an iPhone and iPad app that allows anyone to easily run in-person giveaways at conventions, schools, presentations, and other events. Simply collect names and email addresses of participants, then pick the winners. Participant information can be exported for email marketing, and winners can be shared via social media. With Raffleway, there’s no need for Internet connectivity, tickets, or paper slips; just run your giveaway simply in Raffleway.
When you run a giveaway with the Raffleway app, you can choose to accept single entries or multiple entries. After all entries are submitted in a Raffleway, just tap the Pick button to pick the winners. For Raffleways with multiple entries, a configurable option is available to remove entries after a win. The option is there for you to decide whether participants should win only once.
There is one, simple screen for participants to enter their name and email in a Raffleway. The background image on the screen is customizable so you can promote your business or brand. With each Raffleway configured for single entries or multiple entries, the entry form is presented to participants in a corresponding manner. The presentation style of the entry form is designed to quickly enter participants with the correct number of entries.
In most cases, there is no need for participants to see names or email addresses of other participants. Therefore, Raffleway allows you to set a passcode, so participants cannot see any sensitive data (i.e. names, email addresses) within the app. If you have an iOS device with Touch ID, you can use it (alternatively) to exit the entry form.
After a Raffleway is hosted, you can choose to share winners and/or participants. Share them to clipboard, Message, Mail with CSV, social media (winners only), and AirDrop. If you are a person or business who does email marketing, you will really appreciate the option to share Mail with CSV. The CSV file is a spreadsheet formatted specifically for importing names and email addresses into services for email marketing campaigns.
