LinguaPix is an engaging iPad app for individuals to practice expressive language skills in three activities: Flashcards, Matching, and Pick or Spin. In the activities, users practice naming, describing, formulating sentences, and more. Users interact with real photos from 1 or more of the following 15 decks: Animals, Around the House, Body Parts, Clothing, Cooking and Cleaning, Food and Drink (a-m), Food and Drink (n-z), Health and Safety, Hygiene and Personal Care, Occupations and People, School, Sports and Recreation, Tools, Toys and Games, and Travel and Transportation. Overall, LinguaPix has 15 decks with an average of 70 cards per deck and a total of 1,035 cards.

Eight is great.

In a perfect world, all users would receive one-to-one instruction with a trained professional. Since it’s not a perfect world, we’ve set it up to be as perfect as we can make it. We’ve included group scoring and individualization of content for up to eight users per activity. So, all users practice just what they need. Instruction for eight users, as seamless as for one.

Switch for time, switch for purpose.

Time is of the essence. So, we’ve made it easy to switch tasks or focus on new skills without having to exit out of an activity to make changes. You decide when to switch from naming nouns and verbs to formulating sentences or describing images. Quickly choose from an array of options for scoring or skill. Select from broad categories such as all grammar and 5-6 word sentences to more specific aspects like pronouns and conjunctions.

Differentiate. It matters.

Users have different needs and practice at different levels. While one user might be ready to tackle compound/complex sentences, another might work on building sentences with a sentence starter. You set the level for each user and these preferences remain the same in an activity until you change them. It’s easy for you to ensure that all users can practice at the level just right for them.

Data that will stand up for you.

We know the importance of providing data to demonstrate and document user practice and progress. That’s why we’ve made it possible to collect detailed scores in all activities for all users. Scores are broken down by task and skills, and can be further delineated between prompted and not prompted scoring with the touch of a button. Specific notes can be added and scores can be shared outside of the app via email or clipboard.

Because no product is ever perfect.

We strive to provide you with plenty of high quality content. But, we know you always need more. LinguaPix not only gives you over 1000 cards of included content, but we give you the ability to create your own decks of cards. Customize content, images, and decks to suit all your users’ needs.
